Rotary International District 1100
The District includes Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Wiltshire and parts of Worcestershire, Somerset and Monmouth. It is bisected by the M5 motorway; to the east are the Cotswold hills (an Area of Outstanding Beauty) with its many villages and market towns; to the west is the Severn Vale and the Forest of Dean.
Its most northerly Club is Leominster in Herefordshire, a county of farming country, rolling hills and hidden valleys, quiet charm and distinctive black-and-white houses.
The ancient Cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester, the home of several Clubs, combine modern shopping areas with ancient buildings. The medieval "Mappa Mundi" is to be seen in Hereford Cathedral.
